VISION
Ministers’ Apostolic Network International (MANI) was birthed as a result of a Divine Visitation in 1989 after a very challenging period in the ministry when I contemplated quitting. The Lord caught me up in a vision of heaven and I saw the heavenly cloud of witnesses. These are the saints who have passed before us. They were all gathered in what seem like a big stadium cheering me on. The most astonishing thing was that they all knew my name and were urging me to go on, calling me by my rst name! The Lord spoke and commanded me to “go and encourage ministers”. Heaven released a mantle upon me after this visitation to minister to ministers. In line with this vision, Ministers’ Apostolic Network International (MANI) was founded as a voluntary non-denominational, non-racial, international ministerial network providing apostolic covering and impact to ministers of the Gospel. The focus of the network is the minister. The network does not run local churches or impose her identity on the local body, but rather, the network serves as a platform to encourage ministers and build bridges in the body of Christ’ “Where upon… I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:” (Acts 26:19)
MANI Mandate Scripture
Deuteronomy 1:38 “But Joshua the son of Nun, which standeth before thee, he shall go in thither: encourage him: for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.
Key Objectives
The central objective of MANI is to encourage ministers as the LORD instructed. When the minister is encouraged, his church is encouraged. Many precious servants of God go through periods of challenges and discouragement; the network provides many avenues through which they can be encouraged. The word of God is sent out to ministers in a systematic manner making use of several channels of ministry and technologies. Pro 27:17 Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the Day approaching” (Heb 10:25)
A Fellowship Platform
The pastor needs to have a conversation with someone who understands where the shoe pinches. As spiritual parents to their various congregations, they sometimes have challenges they cannot share with their own cock.
Thus, Ministers of the Gospel are in need of friendship and fellowship among their peers (within the Body of Christ) that will be confidential, invigorating and refreshing. This objective is achieved through our Periodic Minister’s Retreats, MANI ministers cell fellowship; small cells designed to bring encouragement to ministers, Annual Gathering of Eagles – Believers and Leadership Conventions, and visitation to the minister and his church. Ministers can also take advantage of the Online Communications Technology, which has made it possible for ministers to connect with each other, share, and fellowship around the world; MANI also provides these platforms
A Foundation of Truth
The Word of God, which is The Truth is what sets free and no one knows all The Truth. “For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.” (1 Corinthians 13:9 & 12) Our goal, therefore, is to major on the major and minor on the minor. We all know in part, but the network is mindful of ‘doctrinal excesses’ which have robbed the church of her testimony and created confusion among God’s servants. In MANI, Ministers are encouraged to walk in the truth in a balanced manner. Many waves of revivals have been quenched by human extremes. Here, we encourage ministers to avoid ‘ditches’ in their walk with the Lord
Integrity & Accountability
Personal and corporate integrity affect the testimony and the effectiveness of the church among the communities. In recent times the church has been wounded in this area which has affected her witness for the Lord Jesus. The minister is not only called to walk in power, but also in truth and purity. The network has put in place Biblical Systems that encourage personal and corporate integrity. He that is accountable to no one walks alone. The Network ensures that each minister is accountable to someone. The minister’s walk needs to match his talk. Each minister must determine not to be a castaway at the end of his or her service to the LORD, with the help of the Holy Spirit and the safety – net provided by the network we believe this objective is achievable. “But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.” (1 Corinthians 9:27. Also See: Matthew 13:48; Luke 9:25). We hold each other accountable before GOD our Father as our brothers’ keepers.
Revival
Every revival comes with its own “Water of Truth and Refreshing” which God intends that we carry on to the next revival. When God starts a new move, ministers can get stuck with what has happened ‘yesterday’ and miss out on what God is doing ‘today’. It is the objective of (M.A.N.I) to encourage members to be on the cutting-edge of what God is doing. “Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.” (2 Peter 1:12) In the face of many global challenges, God is resetting and reordering things to bring about authentic Christianity and apostolic revivals and we seek to remain a part of the divine move of God on the Earth and in our clime, time and season.
MANI Ministers Cell Fellowship (MMCF)
These are small units where ministers can receive encouragement. MANI Coordinators reach out to other ministers in their sphere of influence or localities to bring encouragement through prayer meetings, fellowship meetings, and sharing of the word.
Apostolic Covering and Support For The Local Church
By encouraging the ministers of the gospel on MANI’s platform, member local churches enjoy Apostolic Visits and impartation by the MANI Commission on invitation by each head pastor. These visits serve to strengthen the churches and impart spiritual blessings on the congregation according to the Apostolic Order exemplified by the Apostle Paul in Romans 1:10-12 and 15:29 “For I long to visit you so that I can impart to you the faith that will help your church grow strong in the Lord….. For I want not only to share my faith with you but to be encouraged by yours: Each of us will be a blessing to the other… And I am sure that when I come the Lord will give me a great blessing for you. (The Living Bible, TLB). By this biblical strategy, MANI provides Ministerial Oversight for associated Ministers and Ministries alike.
MANIFEST – The MANI School of Ministries
MANIFEST is The MANI School of Ministry where structured Ministerial Courses are run at Foundational, Advanced, and Leadership Refresher Levels. MANIFEST is a panacea for World Evangelization and Global Revival. We believe in the manifestation of the Holy Spirit and his enabling power as divine enablement for peak performance in life and ministry. Through our systematic programs, we seek to lay solid foundations for the emergence of a new breed mission-minded minister of the gospel with a fresh anointing, who will be committed to pursuing the Great Commission Mandate through their respective ministerial endeavors. MANIFEST enjoys a Global Faculty of seasoned ministers with proven records of personal integrity and corporate impact. The manifold grace of God is brought to bear in such a way and manner that the lives and ministries of MANI ministers who take the courses are rewired and re-red to stay the course and finish the race gallantly. “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”
(Romans 8:19)
“But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to prot withal.”
(1Corinthians 12:7)
“But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.”
(2 Corinthians 4:2)
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself so that I might finish my course with joy and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.” (Acts 20:24)
“And when we had finished our course from Tyre, we came to Ptolemais, and saluted the brethren, and abode with them one day.”
(Acts 21:7)
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:”
(2 Timothy4:7)
Ordination and Consecration of Ministers
Ordination and Consecration of Gospel Ministers into the five-fold Ministerial Offices of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelists, Pastor, and Teacher is an apostolic function which the MANI leadership provides for interested and proven ministers on successful completion of MANIFEST – The MANI School of Ministries. Ministers whose ministries have been proven upon recommendation are ordained as a public affirmation of their call and ministry.
“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: That we henceforth are no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness,
whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body titly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
(Ephesians 4:11-16)
“Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.”
(1 Timothy 4:14)
Leadership Structure
The MANI Leadership Structure is designed to reach ministers wherever God has called them to serve in the Body of Christ as we have “One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:5-7)
